About P3P Toolbox

The privacy of an individual's personal data on the Internet is a top concern for the Internet industry. That is why the industry has come together to lead the implementation of P3P to ensure that Web users' personal data is protected and only shared with the Internet sites that they choose to share it with.

P3P Toolbox is the one-stop resource developed by a coalition of Internet industry leaders and public interest organizations to provide privacy officers and Webmasters with the information they need to make their sites Web sites P3P compliant. The site was created and is maintained by the Internet Education Foundation, which is one of the leaders of the P3P implementation effort, with the assistance of the World Wide Web Consortium.
